DESCRIPTION:Friday 2 February 5pm – 11pm & Saturday 3 February 12pm – 11pm\nEspresso Martini Festival ADL is the first of an annual cocktail competition we’ve designed to celebrate the rise of cocktail bars in Adelaide. We’ve rounded up some of the best Cocktail creators in Adelaide who will be presented with the challenge to make Adelaide’s best “Espresso Martini”. \nWhat Bars will be contending for 2018 Espresso Martini Challenge?\nThere’s going to be 8 bars at our Festival slinging cocktails and contending to make Adelaide’s BEST Espresso Martini! \n\nAlfred’s Bar\nMr Goodbar\nBRKLYN\nMississippi Moon\nBank Street Social\nElectra House\nThe William Bligh\nLa Moka\n\nThe Espresso Martini Competition will take place over the two-day festival on the Main Stage. Keep an eye on our website and our social media to see the event program which will be released in January 2018. \nWho’s Judging?\nWe’ve put together a judging panel of five experts from different fields to decide who makes the best Espresso Martini! \n\nThe Master Chef – Shannon Fleming – Forgotten Seasons – A renowned South Australian Chef known for his creative flair and use of native produce.\nThe Spirit Master – Mark Reginato – Man of Spirit – aka: The Mayor of Adelaide’s cocktail scene supplying some of the finest craft spirits and wine in Australia.\nThe Coffee Master – Joshua Rivers – C.R.E.A.M. – Owner\, barista wizard and latte art award winner. An expert by the way of all things coffee.\nThe Cocktail Master – Vini Wang – Hains & Co – A rising star in the South Australian cocktail scene – finalist in national cocktail competitions including Woodford Reserve\, La Maison Cointreau & Bacardi Legacy.\nThe Master Distiller – Graham Buller – 23rd Street Distillery – Head Distiller for one of South Australia’s biggest and innovate craft distilleries.\n\nYou can cast your vote! People’s Choice Award – \nEach bar will offer a 50ml sample of their Espresso Martini for $5. Use your token on entry to cast your vote! When the competition is done\, all guests will vote for the next cocktail challenge for 2019. Who knows\, next year could be Spritz Festival ADL?! \nDon’t worry! \nWe know you can only drink so many Espresso Martini’s. So\, each bar will have their own space serving up their competition Espresso Martini and other specialty cocktails as well. We assure you\, there will be too many cocktails to choose from! We’ve designed two ultimate cocktail experiences Harvest Liquor Tasting Sessions – Brought to you by the awesome one stop online Aussie Craft Liquor Shop – Harvest Liquor – 100 Tickets will be released in January 2018 to attend a 2 hour tasting session with local distillers for only $10! \nWhite Marquee Martini Island – Have you ever wanted to dance the night away on Rymill Park Island? Well\, dreams can come true! We’re beyond excited to announce you can join us for a private VIP Club thanks to White Marquee. Get ready to enjoy an evening of cocktails and tunes. Our Island has it’s own private DJ! Antipodes Gin Co. will be featuring a range of cocktails made with their organic Gin\, Vodka and Espresso Liqueur. As a VIP you will enjoy access Espresso Martini Festival + access to the White Marquee Martini Island + 4 Free Cocktails. The island kicks off both Friday and Saturday from 7pm until 11pm.
