DESCRIPTION:This April\, Adelaide will host the 11th Special Olympics Australia National Games\, showcasing the skills and sportsmanship from the country’s best intellectually disabled athletes. \nFour days of competition will see over 1\,000 athletes competing across 11 sporting disciplines\, all vying for the opportunity to represent Team Australia\, traveling to Abu Dhabi for the 2019 Special Olympic World Summer Games. \nThe National Games will start with the Opening Ceremony held on Monday\, the 16th of April at Titanium Security Arena and convene with a Closing Ceremony on Friday\, the 20th of April. Sporting grounds across South Australia will host the individual events (click here for a full list of venues) . \nThe days will be made up of fierce competition from athletes across different sites throughout Adelaide. Get down and show your support for these incredible and inspiring athletes. \n
