A midwinter cellar door celebrates the shortest day of the year like the pagans before us intended – drinking wine and feasting on food with friends. \nEscape the cold and join 15 South Australian wineries and 5 South Australian food manufacturers and producers in the former Royal Adelaide Hospital foyer on North Terrace on Friday the 15th of June between 5pm and 8pm. \nGrab a glass and have chat with the people behind the brand who know their wines best\, they’ll no doubt help you find your new favourite winter tipple. Share some locally produced food with friends to complete the perfect winter catch-up or after work wind-down. \nShowing off their delicious drops at our midwinter cellar door are Ashton Hills Vineyard\, Byrne Vineyards\, Claymore Wines\, Golding Wines\, Gomersal Wines\, Haselgrove Wines\, Hugo Wines\, Kimbolton Wines\, Lindsay Wine Estate\, Longview Vineyard\, Majella Wines\, Penny’s Hill\, A Good Dirt\, Silent Noise and Yangarra Estate Vineyard. \nThey will be joined by Beyond India Catering & Events\, Bracegirdle’s\, Forage & Feast\, Kimchi Club and Woodside Cheese Wrights serving up their delectable delights throughout the evening. \nFor event entry simply purchase a souvenir wine glass at the door for $5. \nThis event will have no free wine tastings. Wines are for sale by the half glass and the glass\, but event-goers may also like to buy by the bottle to take home or out to Friday night dinner. \nThe South Australian Wine Industry Association and Food South Australia ask all event goers to drink responsibly.
